Here's the second version of the campaign, it is much more like a free-roamer. This version puts the first one to shame! Post, message, or email suggestions for improvement.

The story:

The Hollywood Knights are a group of mercenaries making up the second-largest private military group in the world (largest group is the Red Skulls, not in the story yet). You are one of their newest Cyberdyne super-soldiers, a project created as an answer to the Red Skulls' spartan super-soldiers, and they are breaking you in by sending you to scout a possible base location. After being dropped from orbit, you eject from the pod at an altitude of 50 feet, and land at a structure in the side of a cliff. A failed landing, but it's your first so no big deal. You are technically dead for several seconds, but your suit's advanced systems revive you. While you are still only semi-conscious, you are greeted cheerfully by your commander who sends you messages on your HUD. Follow his instructions and you just might pass your super-soldier exam!

Known issues:
1. Do not activate more than one mission at a time or you will be in very deep (and confusing) shit.
2. The two friendly reinforcements will not do anything for you until you have a vehicle for them to ride in. I don't know why they won't listen to me telling them to follow you, but I hope to have it resolved in the next release.
3. Dropships will sometimes appear as if their driver is mentally unstable. The reason for this is simple - the driver is mentally unstable. This is Halo 1 AI, after all. Don't worry about them, they always do their job correctly in the end.

Oh, also, forgot to mention that there are only 4 missions (but they're not short ones) activated by the control panels. Once you've activated 2 from both panels, that's the end. I haven't put in an ending yet, but I didn't want you to be confused and think you messed something up.

I used the deathisland multiplayer map and then scripted triggers for things to happen for missions (ai spawning, vehicle spawning, messages, etc.) It's free-roam because you can choose what mission to do and when to start it. Right now you can only choose from two missions at any given time, but I'm going to add more triggers in the next version.

To get it to play in pc, is there anything else I need to do other than run it through the conversion program? (I've never modded hpc before.) I tried that but I keep getting an exception when I try to play it.

Ran it through all 3 programs, each one is the same when I try to play the map in halopc, i get an exception. Would someone who is better at converting than I am be kind enough to download the map and convert it to pc? I would very much appreciate it.

Well we could always do it the old fashioned way with HMT and a centralized tag folder, but I doubt it would work with the type of scripts you're using.

The scripts are part of the scenario, if you can rip the scenario, you can get the scripts.

Thanks, that's the real reason it took so long. The scenario editing was done in no time, the rest was writing and testing script.

I think it's mighty fine. Actually, we're considering moving it to the advanced section once we get some things sorted. Maybe if you could fix up the description a bit, and explain more about what it is people will be playing, that would be great, thanks. :)

Question, in that last pic can you actually control the gun?

Hey man, I just played it and I just noticed some pretty serious problems. The enemy is on your team and won't try to kill you. But the rest is awesome, the mission selection and everything. Just that one major problem :P
