The mods in Fallout New Vegas that you make with the G.E.C.K. actually fuckin work, unlike Oblivion, you make a mod to give you a staff or a bow and go to the plaza where you put it and its not there.

Also, now that I think I know enough about Oblivion/fallout/fallout new vegas I'm confident enough to start making house mods I think....

Fallout 3 was dead for me once I finished the main story, it's so final, no real desire to finish the side quests. I found a mod that lets you keep playing after the main mission is over, but I haven't found one like that yet for Fallout new vegas. In FNV however I sorta wanna wrap up all the quests I can before I slaughter the Khans, Kings, Omertas, and Legion

God damn man, 3,724 hrs on WOW? And 1,000 + hrs on GTA and HALO? How do you have that many extra hours a day to accumulate all that?

I....um....oops. I work 10 hrs a day for 3 days a week, the rest of that time I just fuck around. I'm one of those people that play through the game once or twice, get familiar then go all out finding mods and cheats to prolong the fun I get out of the game

I probably have 1000+ hours in Morrowind. Its by far my favourite RPG.

Currently running increased run speed and a 3rd person center. Playing the game in 3rd person, without half the screen being taking up, feels a lot better.

And running fast also makes it all a bit easier to go through.

I didn't really get past the tutorial first time I gave the game a go, I'm seriously not one for single-player games. Restarted the game, this time decided to be an arsehole, and steal everything and anything. I've made a good 2k caps in the first 15 minutes of the game, compared to the 70 I had when I was attempting to be a cool guy.

Bleh.

Pretty epic. The most amount of hours I have ever put into a game was 2,400 on Runescape. I wish I would have been playing a fun game for 100 days of my life =( Although I did bot about 25 of those days.

I can't get xfire to read NV, I have no idea why it won't detect it, I put it in manually too.

I want the M2 .50 BMG mod <3 for FO3

I've found a plethora of military installations (Nellis in particular), bunkers, comms centers, ect...

Does New Vegas have more places to explore as compared to Fallout 3?

The textures/models are the same as F3 except in cutscenes. Kind of surprised me. The familiarity actually feels nice.

it looks like fallout 3 because its the same company, same engine, some of the same textures too. When I heard that another company might be making Fallout New Vegas I was suprised and was refreshed only to learn on further inspection it was still Bethesda, to which then I cried out in pain.
