Story:
Spoiler
The beginning of the story.
After training of 3SO was over, the began to complete missions. One very important one is Operation: LACEDAEMON. Covenant managed to capture some Super Spartans alive and transfered them to one of their science research planets. However, all SS have tracking devices installed to find captured units.
Amount of 3SO teams UNSC sends to attack that planet is 13, which is 52 soldiers. (Those teams include Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Epsilon teams.)
The Covenant planet has energy shield in it's atmosphere all over the planet, which makes it impossible for anything to go on or off that planet. That barrier can be shutted down only by two means: In command centre on surface of the planet or using 2 transmitters on moons of the planet simultaneously.
The planet has two icy moons, one transmitter on each. Moons too have energy shields, but they only cover some important locations, like Covenant bases.
After energy shield is temporally shutted down, teams attack the planet. They retrieve captured SS units, capture as much Covenant technology as they can and then escape.

General gameplay:
Spoiler
In this first part of the operation, you must go to those transmitters on the moons and hold them some time so they gain connection and shut that barrier down (oddball, 1 min). Nav points mark the transmitters, but you can get to them only by using teleports. Teleports are located in bases.
Two 3SO teams are deployed on each moon, one by Pelican and one by Longsword. You play as 3SO Leader in each map. Those moons use basically Sidewinder and Ice fields bsps, but skies are changed and music added.
As 3SO you run faster and jump higher. You are also much more resistance to damage than normal SPARTAN-II. And thanks to 3SO-exclusive-built-in-automatic-reload-after-every-shot-using-ammo-stored-in-your-empty-suit-system, your Killer doesn't run out of ammo.
But because this is real operation instead of training, you don't have multiple lives. One death and it is game over.
It is highly recommended that you play 3SO_Sidewinder level before 3SO_Icefields.

Spoiler
You are dropped from Longsword through one shield block, using Disposable EMP generator installed to your team's shield systems, straight to one of Covenant's bases, where the teleport should be in. Other team uses Pelican to get to surface and assist you.
The map has lots of enemies, from which some respawn couple times. There are also many door devices, some open but some are closed all the time.

Spoiler
This time your team is the one to be dropped via Pelican. Other team will soon jump out from Longsword once you have started fighting. Dropoffs are again done in Covenant base where teleport should be.
This map has scripts, unlike Sidewinder one. Allies follow your path across the level, though they drop from you little by little to guard conquered zones. Device doors are also present. Some keep closed, but some open when you approach them, so test them!
Enemies in this map are also great in numbers and you also encounter enemies that don't exist in normal Halo 1 campaign: Elite Ultras with plasma rifles, needlers and energy swords, Zealots with needlers, Grunt Specops with plasma rifles, Elite Specops with energy swords and Hunter Rangers.

Put the two .map files into your Halo CE's maps-folder. "Two Moons"-folder is the gametype for both maps, put the entire folder into My Files\My Games\Halo CE\savegames folder. Don't try to play these maps with other gametypes, they won't work properly or at all.
