Before you tackle the above tasks, there is one more thing we should talk about, something we hinted at both during E3 and, more recently, in the first paragraph of this Bulletin. We’re pleased to confirm that we’re planning a Title Update (a small download which will add some interesting functionality) for Halo: Reach in preparation for the multiplayer aspect of Halo: Anniversary.

If your heart suddenly sped up, fret not, Reach fan. This is something that will not only sit side-by-side with Reach’s existing gameplay and will be accessible by both Reach and Anniversary players, but will allow us to make fairly significant changes to multiplayer gameplay within the confines of Matchmaking. We’ve talked about this as a way to better recreate the classic Halo: CE feel for the new classic maps, and it will let us do some things in gameplay that simply aren’t possible now. I don’t want to give too much away until we get through gameplay and bug-testing, but an example scenario would be allowing you to play, say, [REDACTED] with zero fall damage. Now that’s a limited and simplistic example, but it does speak to the way we’re approaching the changes philosophically. There are some bigger ticket “classic” Halo gameplay elements which people are clamoring for and which we intend to do our best to deliver on. More news about specific changes and the timing of the Title Update will be forthcoming. But I can say that, having tried a few of the more significant tweaks, certain “classic” elements are already working with beautiful and deadly efficiency.

I don't know about you, but in my opinion this is pretty big news.

Wow, you guys must really suck! Armor lock isnt that hard to get around, and it can be very useful. Like, I barley play Reach and to me armor lock isnt that big of a deal. Yes, maybe a sticky grenade fail every once in a while or a failed sniper shot but it is really not that bad.

I never said I didn't like armor lock, but it's obviously not the best thing in the game. That'd be like saying a steam jet emitter was the best thing in Halo 1 - they're just little things.

To me the best thing is a warthog. Although some of my friends may disagree(due to my..."different" methods of driving) I am the designated driver in any halo game. They say I do bad, even though I can ussualy keep them alive with...minimal casualties :D

-.-...

No. It's not just the grenade and sniper fails. When you get a team of people that spam armor lock, for example.

You're about to kill this guy, right, and then suddenly: armor lock. Cool, you'll just wait it out. But oh, wait, his other teammates come along and kill you.

Now imagine that being repeated as much as possible.

It's overpowered.
It's annoying.

Then you just have bad luck. I rarely ever get games like that. Oh well, sucks for you  The armor ability I find annoying is decoy. >_<

So, the topic is about armor abilities? I personally hate the jetpack. I don't know how to use it properly, and I've had to go against whole teams using jetpack in nearly every map that encourages "ODST Bullfrog" behavior.

Though, I love the hologram, I can trick nearly anyone with it if I keep a little distance between me and my copy. I love using it on my sister, too. She always freaks out and shoots whole magazines of needlers into the thing.

Oh, and back to the original topic, when and will the Title Update be released for Halo: Reach owners without Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary?

May I ask why I don't see any changes in the customization of of custom gametypes?

Never mind, I just googled it, and it seems that I have to download gametypes from 343 Industries.

Thanks for the help, even if it made me feel dumber than I think I am. :P
