Is it just me or dose it feel like bungie is abandoning the community, no more weekly updates, no contact with the community. Even when they did not have anything new going on they always BSed somthing. Even with halo being out of their hands you would think they still want to keep the community close knit. All we get now are movies of the last 10 years of halo. I feel this may be the beginning of the end of bungie because they lost the connection with the community

With the 7'th column there to jumpstart the community after such a failure, I doubt anything like what you say is even possible.

Perhaps, you are doing what you were meant to do.

Your human mentality screams for vengeance and thrives on the violence that you say you can hardly endure.

Your father told you as a child to always fight with honor, but to always fight.

Do you care about honor, or do you use honor as an excuse?

An excuse to exist in a violent world.

They have nothing to post about, their current project isn't yet announced.

I kind of lost faith in Halo altogether after it wasn't ported to PC ever. So many lost opportunities....

What are you talking about? They are not working on any halo games anymore, and have announced nothing as to what their next project will be. As tucker said, there is nothing for them to talk about.

Even if that have nothing knew you would think they would try to keep the community active and they are not.

The community is not a subsidiary of the company, and therefore does not need to be sustained by it. Any community that operates on such a level would be as weak as a fresh shit. You obviously don't know how the Bungie community works, and are in no position to be posting such unbacked information about it.

Perhaps, you are doing what you were meant to do.

Your human mentality screams for vengeance and thrives on the violence that you say you can hardly endure.

An excuse to exist in a violent world.

How about instead of insulting me, you actually bring tangible information to the table. You sure would look less like a jackass as well.

I was offering an opinion from my own personal observation. I have been playing halo since it's first realease and have been apart of the bungie community since then. You somehow managed to take offense because for some reason your acting like your the embodiment of the community and the speaker for all. So yeah you sound like a jackass.

Opinions are, most of the time, not factual. Studied evidence towards a fact incorporated into opinions is factual. Simply being "apart" of something doesn't entitle you to speak as if you know all about it either.

You somehow managed to take offense because for some reason your acting like your the embodiment of the community and the speaker for all.

Negatory! If anything, I'm not even a part of the community itself. I may be a member of the 7'th column and whatnot but I don't do jack shit when it comes to participating. I've studied psychology for 3 years, and if there's anything I know for sure, it's that corporately operated communities never work. The Bungie community isn't something that's just going to go away, this is because it's based on the principle of following over loyalty. If people really, truly like/love something, they aren't just going to go "Oh well, I can never be happy with what I have so I guess I'll just fuck off", that would be asinine. People are going to stay with the notion that they are getting together to celebrate something they all have in common: the appreciation of something.

So yeah you sound like a jackass.

The best part is I never said the community was falling apart (although by the amount of activity of this forum recently shows evidence of that) but that bungie is not being active with the community and that is fact. So stop bring an asshole the bottom line is you have nothing better to do and need to make yourself feel important by starting shit in a forum, so good day. This thread, like the rest of this forum is dead anyways. Have a nice day.

You cannot relate this community to Bungie. Why, we're not related to Bungie in any way. Also, the people who are active are more active during school. You just came late to the game.

Wow, what an excuse you have there! Are you really going to sit there and say that after typing:

I feel this may be the beginning of the end of bungie because they lost the connection with the community

And:

Even if that have nothing knew you would think they would try to keep the community active and they are not.

Honk honk! All aboard the derpmobile! Right there you're implying that the company is going to fail because the community will fail, because the company is going to fail. This is circular logic that doesn't go anywhere but into the anus of ignorance.

but that bungie is not being active with the community and that is fact.

No one is refuting that. I don't even know why you would factor that into your reply in the first place.

So stop bring an asshole

No. You're a dumbass spanning from a multitude of people that post threads and don't expect their subject matter to be at least refuted by 1%.

the bottom line is you have nothing better to do and need to make yourself feel important by starting shit in a forum, so good day.

You're using that line again, are you? Either you're being a repetitive coward in posting untrue bullshit and then running away from anyone that refutes it, or I really am arrogant like you say. Considering the fact that you've posted more than one thread full of bull, I'm willing to bet on the first option.

Since your not contributing to this thread nor is anyone else here are my final thoughts.

1) Bungie is not being active with the community, I have seen several businesses lose contact with customers and fan bases and it typically never ends well. It is a fact that Bungie has not been contributing to the community in any way.

2) I never said that the Bungie community is failing, although unarguably it has weekend substantially since the release of Halo: Reach. What I was saying (and i obviously have to spell this out for you since your incapable of putting it together) is that since Bungie has been lacking communication with the community this could be the start5 of the new norm for them, less interaction.

3) I have been a member of this forum for quite some time, and if I remember correctly, Mars, you have always been an asshole to everyone; because that's who you are, an asshole. You attacked me for no reason while I was trying to have a discussion about the community. Instead of formulating your thoughts in an assertive kind of way you attacked aggressively, and the only type of people who do that are people with ego problems and take things way to seriously.

As for this form and those who have been helpful on it, I appreciate you and the meany discussions we have had. I hope someday that Bungie will regain contact and resume activity with the community; however I feel that is unlikely. Its too bad nobody felt like conversing civilly about this topic.
