Why don't they reference the armor and spartan as in MARK IV or MARK V anymore? Now it's Spartan II, Spartan III and things like that :L
And isn't Master Chief still a Spartan II?

Spartans were never referenced by Mark, only Mjolnir armor variants were. The Spartan 2s were the only ones to receive Mjolnir armor all-around. And how could MC change Spartan generations?
